Walk A
'Marsh Lane Can be Marshy!' A circular walk of approx. 50 minutes.

Start on the road with your back to the front door of The Bunk Inn.
Turn right. Walk along Kiln Drive for approximately 75 metres then take the byway which goes to the right of the right-hand entrance pillar of Curridge Park. Follow this byway up, then down and along with a sand quarry on your left. Go round a right-hand bend following the track between two quarries until you take the turn left into a byway, keeping the M4 on your right. Follow this 'avenue' of young trees, at first parallel to the M4 and then as it veers to the left. When you meet a tarmacked service road cross that road and enter the field. Turn left as you enter the field. Keep the hedge and then a small, triangular plantation on your left. Go through the field boundary and follow the byway (Public Right of Way Byway) to the right.
You are now on Marsh Lane, with the wood on your left and fields on your right. Go uphill and then down until you pass houses on both sides and Marsh Lane joins the Curridge to Winter- bourne Road.
Turn left along the road ( BENDS AND NO PAVEMENT). Just after you have seen the turning to Curridge Green on the right the road rises slightly and the road to Curridge School is on the left. Take the road to Curridge School. Just beyond the school gates keep the school railings close to your left and the road becomes an unmade footpath. Go down that footpath and turn left when it joins the un-made Chapel Lane. Follow Chapel Lane back to The Bunk Inn.
