Curridge Wastelands Charity

School Leavers, are you about to progress to Higher or Further Education?  If so, as a resident of Curridge, you should be aware that there is a small Charity “Curridge Wastelands” [Charity No 202501] that was originally founded to “relieve need, hardship or distress generally or individually to residents of the Curridge community”.

The Trustees have extended the scope of their discretion to school leavers having increased expenses in particular books or equipment for the course.  The trustees are now minded to further extend their discretion to applications from students from Curridge embarking on higher or further education courses either directly from school or after a gap year who incur expenses for books, special equipment or materials relevant to their course.

Applications may be submitted at any time throughout the course, however, distribution of funds will only occur once in each academic year and there will be a limit to the number of applications from any one student.

To be considered for a small grant please download the application form below.

Further queries can be asked of any of the present trustees:

Mrs Thelma Crossley Tel: 201184,
Mr Rob Crispin Tel:  200512
Mrs Jean Main Tel:  201224

The final application date deadline for 2017 is Friday 27 October.
