Chieveley has a popular cinema club, located in the village hall, showing films normally on the first Tuesday of the month.

The very friendly society is a gathering of gardeners from different parts of the community who are keen to learn more about gardening by sharing experiences of growing flowers and vegetables and by meeting monthly in the Curridge WI Hall, usually the 3rd Thursday of the month.
