Speed Awareness Group
A new Speed Awareness Group (SAG) has been formed for Chieveley and Curridge Parish. The group is part of the national Community Speed Watch initiative, run and supported by the Police Authorities, it will run speed checks at various sites across Chieveley, Curridge, Oare and Snelsmore.
The aim of the group is to encourage drivers to be aware of the speed limits and drive more safely and slowly in these areas.
The speed checks require a team of three to record speed and data of cars exceeding the speed limit
