The Highways Agency will be resurfacing the roundabout at the A34/M4 (Junction 13) Interchange at Chieveley, West Berkshire, to ensure the roundabout remains in a safe and serviceable condition.
Work will be carried out at night between 10pm to 6am on the following dates, whilst fully closing either the east or west sides of the roundabout:

West-side closures: Monday 6, Tuesday 7 and Monday 13 October

East-side closures: Wednesday 8, Thursday 9 and Friday 10 October

East-side Closures

During these closures the following slip roads/links will be closed:

• M4 Junction 13 westbound exit slip road
• M4 Junction 13 eastbound entry slip road
• A34 southbound approach to roundabout
• A34 southbound departure from the roundabout



Road users will only be able to approach the roundabout from the A34 northbound link to access the M4 westbound carriageway, Moto Service Area and A34 slip road to Chieveley village; and M4 eastbound exit slip road to access the A34 northbound carriageway and slip road to Chieveley village. 


West-side Closures

During these closures the following slip roads/links will be closed:

• M4 Junction 13 eastbound exit slip road
• M4 Junction 13 westbound entry slip road
• A34 northbound approach to roundabout
• A34 northbound departure from the roundabout


Road users will only be able to access the roundabout from the A34 southbound slip road to access the M4 eastbound carriageway, Moto Service Area and A34 southbound link road; and M4 westbound exit slip road to access the A34 southbound carriageway and Moto Service Area.

Chieveley Parish Councillors will be available at 7pm on Tuesday 9th  September 2014 at Chieveley Village Hall & Recreational Centre for a public comments session on the West Berkshire Council HSA DPD Preferred Options Consultation prior to the Parish Council meeting at 7.30pm.

A draft Housing Site Allocations DPD Consultation Response has been issued by the working group for the Parish Council's consideration on Tuesday 9th September 2014. 

Parish Council draft minutes will become available prior to a Parish Council meeting so members of the public attending the meetings have an understanding of what is being approved.  Draft Minutes
